Working together one-on-one, Kim can help you develop resilience to meet both the joys and struggles of life with balance and compassion, and to cultivate mindfulness for greater insight into old habits, patterns, and beliefs which may be obscuring your good heart and wisdom. With practice and encouragement, you can live with less stress and more clarity, and truly orient your actions to benefit yourself, your relationships, and your community. Kim also works with couples and families.
Students meet with Kim regularly (usually monthly) to learn metta meditation, and discuss your daily practice and hindrances or obstacles you're experiencing with meditation. You’ll also learn to develop greater self-compassion via gratitude, mindfulness of self-talk/critical internal voice, embodiment/breathing exercises, and other ways of mindfully relating to yourself and others with kindness and gentleness.
One-time meetings are available as scheduling allows.
