Meeting Grief and Loss with Kindness - Shantideva Center Online

In her new book Navigating Grief and Loss: 25 Buddhist Practices to Keep your Heart Open to Yourself and Others, meditation teacher Kimberly Brown weaves together poignant personal stories of loss with traditional mindfulness and metta practices. Her approach to the changes in life—the death of a parent, getting fired from your job, or an unexpected divorce—empowers you to engage with and befriend your sadness, pain, and mourning, and discover the true openness and peace available within us all, no matter what the circumstances.

In this online evening talk, Kimberly will lead brief mediations and explore aspects of her book to help anyone suffering with loss—of any kind—access and benefit from their own beautiful qualities of love, compassion, and wisdom.
